BELTON, TX — The Texas Police Chiefs Association will hold an "Understanding Implicit Bias" training course in Belton next month.
On July 10, the Texas Police Chiefs Association will present its newest training course for law enforcement officers of all ranks.
"The course will be first offered in Belton, Texas at the request of law enforcement agencies in the Central Texas Area and will discuss the impact of implicit bias in policing as well as organization and individual responsibilities to address its effects," TPCA said.
The 4 hour long course will be offered free of charge to law enforcement officers and agencies.
The Texas Police Chiefs Association provides leadership and management training across the State of Texas, offering numerous courses related to developing individual leadership and organizational competencies, including the management and supervision of specific functions within agencies.
