CORSICANA, TX — A former Corsicana teacher who was rearrested and charged with 12 counts of indecency with a child has bonded out on Tuesday.
The teacher, Ramon Santuario-Mendoza, was charged with 12 counts back in April.
According to the Corsicana Daily Sun, Corsicana ISD accepted the proposed termination of Mendoza's contract. Santuario-Mendoza taught English Language Arts at Sam Houston Elementary.
A grand jury indicted him on eight counts of sexual abuse in June.
Santuario-Mendoza bonded out with $276,000.
