WACO, TX — With Lemonade Day Waco coming May 4, fourth-grade students from Rapoport Academy Elementary School have been learning about owning and running a business as a part of their curriculum.
To explain the steps of owning a business, the school brought in Cory Dickman, owner of Waco Escape Rooms, to speak and answer questions about his journey in entrepreneurship.
"All of this I think is creating avenues to have more class and to just have outlets to be able to figure out, 'Hey, I want to start X business. How do I go about that?'" said Dickman.
Rapoport Academy students are set to run their own lemonade stands in the area on Saturday.
