KILLEEN, TX — Police in Killeen say they're investigating a shooting, after a person was found suffering from a gunshot wound near Peebles Elementary School.
Just after 5:30 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the 2500 block of Lake Road, where they found that shooting victim.
Police say the victim was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White in Temple. No word yet on the extent of their injuries.
The preliminary investigation revealed that there was a domestic disturbance at the residence when the victim was shot. The investigation continues. The condition of the male victim is critical.
