HOUSTON — PETA protesters rushed the field during the Texas Bowl on Friday.

One protester was stopped, but two others made it onto the field holding a sign. The sign said, "Shut the dog lab down".

All three activists were arrested.

They were protesting the experimenting of Labrador retrievers at Texas A&M. PETA released a video in 2017 of the dogs that has garnered the attention of many celebrities, including Paul McCartney and Pamela Anderson.

PETA claims the dogs in the lab are bred on purpose to have a crippling form of muscular dystrophy. It says these animals often cannot walk, swallow, or breathe on their own.
