Officers discover 2.8 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia during traffic stop

CORSICANA, TX — Officers discovered 2.8 grams of meth after a driver confessed to having drug paraphernalia inside of their vehicle during a traffic stop.

Around 4:23 p.m. on July 8, the Navarro County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit with the assistance of patrol officers conducted a traffic stop and investigation after observing a traffic violation. The traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of West 13th Avenue and South 28th Street in Corsicana.

NCSO says officers spoke with the driver during the investigation. The driver confessed to having narcotic paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Officers discovered approximately 2.8 grams of methamphetamine including packaging along with narcotic paraphernalia during a search.

One person was was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance PG 1 > 1G < 4G.
