WACO, TX — A Fugitive Gang Operation in McLennan County resulted in 119 people being arrested, 24 of which were gang members or associated with a gang.
The Waco Police Department partnered with the McLennan County Sheriff's Department, the U.S. Marshal's Service, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to conduct a Fugitive Operation.
On Friday, all involved law enforcement agencies held a press conference to announce the most successful gang sting in the county to date.
The more than 100 people that were arrested will face charges ranging from Capital Murder to Aggravated Assault, Narcotics and Robbery.
The operation lasted four and a half days.
