WACO, TX — One lane of the I-35 southbound frontage road will be closed in Waco for emergency repairs beginning Tuesday at 10 p.m.
The left lane of the southbound frontage road, at the intersection of I-35 and New Road, will be closed from the south of the intersection to just past the Harley Davidson location.
"This intersection handles a great deal of truck traffic and TxDOT encourages drivers to pay close attention to the conditions around their vehicles," said officials.
Work is expected to continue during the day and nighttime hours and be finished by 7 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30.
TxDOT asks drivers to watch for work zone signs and obey traffic control equipment set up in the area.
