Gatesville City Manager resigns after 1 year in office

GATESVILLE, Texas (KXXV) — Gatesville City Manager, Scott Albert, has resigned after being in office for one year.

Alberts resignation was accepted during Tuesday's city council meeting on May 14.

Until a full-time city manager is found, Gatesville Police Chief Brad Hunt will serve as the city's interim city manager.

Albert was appointed as city manager in May of 2023.

Albert's resignation takes effect immediately.
