Temple police announced Tuesday a suspect is now in custody for an assault and traffic crash on October 1.
Police say Joshua Rios turned himself into the Bell County Sheriff’s Department Jail.
Rios is being held on four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Temple police are still investigating an aggravated assault that injured four people on Oct. 1. Police have identified the suspect and there is a warrant out for his arrest.
The Temple Police Department has identified the suspect in this case as 25-year-old Joshua Rios from Moody, Texas.
The two-year-old who was in critical condition, has succumbed to their injuries as a result of this incident — three individuals remain in stable condition.

Temple PD's initial investigation reveals that an assault occurred at the 9300 block of Highway 317.
The victim then fled in a vehicle and was chased by the suspect south down Highway 317, where the victim's vehicle was pushed into oncoming traffic.
This caused the t-bone collision to occur, which damaged three vehicles — four individuals were also transported to the hospital.
Three remain in stable condition and one is still in critical condition.
At this time no one has been arrested, and there is one suspect who fled from the scene.

Temple police are investigating an aggravated assault that injured four people Monday evening.
Officers were sent out to the 7500 block of North Highway 317 for a crash — police found a vehicle had t-boned another vehicle.
Officers found that one person assaulted another at the 9300 block of South Highway 317.
Another person then chased another individual south down Highway 317, causing the collision.
Three people were sent have been to the hospital with major injuries — one other has been transported with life-threatening injuries.
