According to the Killeen Police Department, the female victim succumbed to her injuries and the male is currently listed in critical condition.
The name of the female has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Killeen police are currently investigating a shooting in the 1100 block of West Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
A male and female were found suffering from gunshot wounds — the conditions of the two victims are unknown at the time.
Officers are in the initial stages of this ongoing investigation, and information will be released once it is available.
The community currently faces no threat.
