COLLEGE STATION, TX — If the Houston Astros clinch the World Series title Tuesday, Academy Sports + Outdoors in College Station will reopen with championship gear.
In a press release, the company announced they will continue the tradition of reopening the College Station store in order to sell championship products like t-shirts, hats, pennants, cups, flags, novelty items and more.
The store received boxes of product in preparation of the win. The gear will also be available online following an Astros win.
The Academy Sports + Outdoors locations in Waco and Temple will not reopen tonight, however they will have championship gear available at 8 a.m. Wednesday and throughout the week.
