Three found dead in Copperas Cove home, suspect charged with murder

COPPERAS COVE, TX — Copperas Cove Police are investigating after three people were found dead in a home on Fairbanks Street during a welfare check Saturday.

27-year-old Bryan Richardson has been charged with three counts of murder.

On December 12, at approximately 09:32 pm, Copperas Cove Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of Fairbanks Street in reference to a welfare check.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the reporting party but were not able to make contact with the residents of the home.

Police say the officers entered the home where they located three deceased individuals.

A fourth individual, later identified as Richardson, was located in the residence and taken to the police department for questioning where he was later charged with murder.

The family of the victims told 25 News the deceased was a woman and her two children.

Richardson was the husband and the father of the the victims.

The incident is still under investigation, and additional details will be distributed as the investigation progresses.

Richardson was arraigned by Justice of the Peace John Guinn on December 13, 2020 and received a $750,000 bond for each count, for a total bond amount of $2,250,000.
