KILLEEN, TX — The community is invited to attend the burial of an unaccompanied U.S. Navy veteran on Jan. 7.
The Texas Veterans Land Board said BUCN Mark Lancaster will be laid to rest at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 11 a.m.
The veteran is not expected to have anyone in attendance at his funeral.
Born on August 3, 1955, Lancaster served in the United States Navy from January 10, 1974 to May 10, 1976.
He received the National Defense Service Medal.
