COLLEGE STATION, TX — The College Station ISD Board of Trustees has named Chief Financial Officer Mike Martindale interim superintendent.
The board selected Martindale as interim superintendent during the January 7 board meeting.
Former superintendent Dr. Clark Ealy was officially confirmed as the superintendent of Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD on January 7. He will begin his new role on February 3.
Martindale has been the district's deputy superintendent and CFO since January 2016. Prior to that, he was the first principal at College Station High School and was responsible for the opening of the school in 2012.
He has 29 years of experience in public education, with six and a half years of central office experience.
Martindale will move into his new role on February 3.
