Baylor Scott & White hospitals in Temple will have to wait until later this week to receive the new COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the Texas Department of State Health Services first week’s allocation plan, Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple is expected to receive 3,900 doses in the first week's allocation.
Monday, DSHS released that Temple would be receiving their shipment Tuesday, December 15th.
DSHS has not released what day Brazos County will receive their shipment.
The first shipments of COVID-19 vaccine have been delivered in Texas. Four sites received 19,500 doses of the Pfizer vaccine Monday morning. An additional 19 sites will receive 75,075 doses on Tuesday.
