Back to School Bash hosted by First United Methodist Church, Gatesville

- School supplies and haircuts are first come, first serve and are for school-aged (K-12th grade) children only.

BONUS: It’s also the 9th Annual Water Balloon Fight, and will feature a mechanical bull.
Circle of Care is accepting school supplies for children in the foster system. The organization is asking for:
- backpacks
- expo markers
- pencils
- composition books
- ballpoints
- notebooks
- paper
- color pencils
- highlighters
- glue sticks
Donations will be accepted at:
- Pura Vida Waco Day Spa, 115 Franklin Ave, Waco
- State Farm Agent, Traci Plemons, 8809 Woodway Dr, Waco
- Therapeds Works, 213 Mills Creek Dr, Ste 105A Salado
- Circle of Care office in Salado, 805 North Main, Ste B Salado
2nd Look Cuts is also asking the community for backpacks. They currently have 45 backpacks and are asking for more. They will be holding a fundraiser on Sunday, August 4 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 3621 Sleeper Avenue. There will be bounce houses, raffle prizes, haircut drives and gift card giveaways.
