6 grams crack cocaine, over $2,000 in cash discovered in Corsicana home

CORSICANA, TX — One person was arrested after 6 grams of crack cocaine and over $2,000 in cash was discovered during the execution of a narcotics search warrant in Corsicana.

The Navarro County Sheriff's Office says just after noon on Friday February 7, the NCSO Narcotics Unit executed a narcotics search warrant in the 3200 block of Kenwood Street in Corsicana.

During the search, deputies located narcotics, drug paraphernalia and the evidence of narcotics being sold from the location.

Deputies ultimately seized approximately 6 grams of cocaine in crack form and a quantity of marijuana.

The deputies also located $2,398 in U.S. currency that will be seized as proceeds of illicit narcotics sales. An asset forfeiture will be filed against the cash.

One suspect was arrested and charged with the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams and less than 2 grams, as well as possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
