HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — Harker Heights Police Department arrested three men for theft of an ATM on Jan. 11.
Police said they were dispatched around 3 A.M. to an alarm at the Chase Bank ATM located in the 200 block of East Central Texas Expressway.
Officers located a white Ford F-250 flatbed hooked up to the Chase ATM with a large metal logging chain.
Police said the truck was unoccupied, but still running, and the chain attached to the damaged ATM was pulled tight.
The three suspects were located and arrested on foot in the 200 block of Indian Oaks Drive.
The suspects were identified as Jesse 19-year-old Salomon Domingues, 18-year-old Andre Omar Martin and 18-year-old Marcus Treyvion.
All of the suspects are from Houston.
They were transported to and booked into the Harker Heights Police Department.
The three suspects have since been transferred to federal custody after coordination with the FBI and could possibly be linked to numerous ATM thefts throughout Texas.
The white Ford 250 flatbed was later found to have been stolen out of Temple and was returned to the owner.
