With an open heart, 13-year-old Victoria describes what kind of family she is hoping for.
"I want to get adopted. Someone nice, kind. If I do something, give me consequences. If I need to be redirected, redirect me," said Victoria.
Victoria wants to be a vet and loves animals.
"My favorite two animals are horses and dogs," said Victoria.
But she isn't able to have a pet until she has a permanent home.
"I don't want to be in the foster care system anymore," said Victoria.
At The Rustic Brush in Waco, you could see how well she bonds with others. The fun and feisty teen just wants the chance to overcome her challenges. Her heart remains open for a forever family.
"I'm gonna hang my heart on the wall," said Victoria about the creation she made at The Rustic Brush.
Victoria is featured in The Heart Gallery of Central Texas, a program of Partnerships for Children.
