At The Rustic Brush in Waco, Paygun puts all his effort into making a heart for his biological mom. He hasn't seen her in some time but hopes one day he can give this gift of encouragement to her.
"She's the only person who know what I'm going through," said Paygun.
He is 17 years old and is featured in The Heart Gallery of Central Texas because he is legally available for adoption. His heart has been broken before.
"I really don't have a hope yet. I don't get my hopes up so easily," said Paygun.
What Paygun does have is a passion for cars.
"Dodge Charger or Ford Raptor because they are big and bold," said Paygun describing which cars he likes best.
He wants to become a mechanic and be an example for his younger siblings, who will still be in the system long after he turns 18.
"That's always on my mind. Try to get them on the right path," said Paygun.
"Forever Families" airs every Wednesday at 6:30 pm and features children ready for adoption from The Heart Gallery of Central Texas, a program ofPartnerships for Children.
