UPDATE
30-year-old Macayla Meshell Bartek, of Belton, was traveling westbound, when a vehicle operated by 46-year-old Lance Scott Jerome Walker, also of Belton, was traveling eastbound — both were pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are still reconstructing the evidence on scene to determine which of the vehicles crossed over into the opposite lanes," Texas DPS said.
Nathan Bartek, husband of Macayla Bartek, is raising money to help cover funeral costs and to help support him and their children.

Motorists are being asked to seek alternate routes or expect delays in the wake of a double fatality crash at FM 439 / FM 93, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
