Brazos County COVID-19 vaccination hub set to distribute 5,000 doses to local residents

BRAZOS COUNTY — The Brazos County COVID-19 vaccination hub is set to distribute 5,000 doses of vaccine to local residents.

Residents who register through the vaccine portal and received a scheduled appointment will begin getting their vaccines on Monday, February 1, 2021.

Registration is only available to people in distribution groups 1A and 1B.

Appointments are required for the vaccination hub and all walk-ins will be turned away.

Those who meet the 1A and 1B requirements, can go to BrazosHealth.org to be placed on a waiting list. Once you are on the waiting list, someone will reach out via email to set up an appointment.

The Brazos County Vaccine Task Force Chief, Jim Stewart, reminds everyone to be patient as there are approximately 65,000 people in category 1B.
