BELLMEAD, TX — For the October 31 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Lieutenant Brenda Kinsey from the Bellmead Police Department.
Traditional trick-or-treating is going door to door, but excited small children running around after dark can face danger. The recommended time for door to door trick-or-treating is between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Children should always be accompanied by and adult, and should only approach houses with their front porch lights on. Parents should also always check their child's candy before allowing them to eat any.
