Providence Hospice hosts annual Veteran's Day Recognition Ceremony

WACO, TX — For the November 4 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Audie Williams, RN, CHPN, senior director with Providence Hospice and Sonya Wilson, volunteer coordinator for Providence Hospice.

Providence hospice has participated in the Waco Veteran's Day parade for 13 years, and hosted the Veteran's Day Recognition Ceremony for 10 years. The Veteran's ceremony is open to the public. It is scheduled for Monday, November 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the Waco Chamber of Commerce building. The Ceremony will include a certificate presentation to all veterans in attendance or family members who are there in honor of a military member past or present.

Following the ceremony, people will have the opportunity to walk outside and watch the Veteran's Day parade.
