KILLEEN, TX — For the October 14 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Amber Mezzacappa with End the Hate, Make Killeen Great Committee.

The End the Hate, Make Killeen Great Committee is a team that brings awareness to stopping domestic violence in the community. For the fourth year in a row, the organization is holding a food drive for the community. Anyone in need can stop by the JPAR office, located at 4102 S. Clear Creek Rd. in Killeen on October 19 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and get non-perishable items to add to their pantry for the holidays. After 6 p.m., any remaining items donated to the fundraiser will be donated to the domestic violence victims at the local Families in Crisis in acknowledgment of domestic violence awareness month.

For more information, contact Amber Mezzacappa at 512-364-6435.
