WACO, TX — For the August 12 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Melissa Mullins, outreach coordinator at Baylor Aquatic Research Center and Rebecca Nall, assistant director of exhibits, communications and visitor services at the Mayborn Museum Complex.

The Mayborn Museum is presenting 'Meet the scientist: Baylor Stream Team' on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This event will allow the general public to become a scientist for a day. The scientists from the Center for Reservoir and Aquatic Systems Research (CRASR) at Baylor University will be at the historic village to measure the water quality of the Brazos River and discuss what the results mean. The data collected will be entered into a global database celebrating EarthEcho Water Challenge. You can check it out here: http://www.worldwatermonitoringday.org/ [worldwatermonitoringday.org]
