HEWITT, TX — For the October 29 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Alissa Cady, executive director of the Greater Hewitt Chamber.
Hewitt's Spooktacular Halloween Bash, presented by Incommons Bank and The City of Hewitt, is set for Thursday, October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the community. The purpose of the event is to provide a safe place for families to trick or treat and also benefits the Hallelujah Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church. This year, the event will be held at Warren Park in Hewitt, 450 South Old Temple Road. There will be a costume contest at 7:00 p.m., categories include ages 0-3, 4-7, 8-12 and family costumes.
Businesses can donate candy by dropping by the chamber office at 101 3rd Street in Hewitt.
