WACO, TX — For the September 24 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Allison Vrana, executive director of La Vega Pirates Education Foundation.
The La Vega Pirates Education Foundation will hold its second gala, "Let’s GIVE and GLOW" on Saturday, November 2 at the Lee Lockwood Library in Waco. The mission of the foundation is to generate and distribute resources to support creative and innovative programs that will enhance the quality of educational programs for students in La Vega ISD. All proceeds from the event will support the mission of the foundation to provide grants to teachers in La Vega ISD for programs where normal state funding is not available.
Tickets are $130 per couple and the event includes a catered BBQ dinner, auctions and more.
