WACO, TX — For the October 22 edition of Central Texas Living Andrea Morgan spoke with Debra King, executive director of Meals on Wheels Waco and Chip Wilson, organizer of 150 for 150.
Meals on wheels has a waiting list of over 150 people. That's the largest it's ever been in the history of the program. The goal of the campaign 150 for 150, is to get 150 seniors off the list by January 1st. It cost $150 each month to feed one person on the list. That is where the name 150 for 150 came from.
