AWARE CTX to host first ever boots & BBQ fundraiser

BELTON, TX — For the October 14 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Misty Biddick, executive director for AWARE Central Texas.

AWARE Central Texas, formerly known as Family Outreach Bell County, is a non-profit organization working with Child Protective Services. The organization, founded in 1986, aims to aid in the prevention of child abuse and family violence through education, case management and referrals to high risk population. On Friday, October 18, AWARE Central Texas is hosting the first Boots and BBQ fundraiser, in conjunction with Schoepf’s BBQ in Belton, TX. This event will help fund prevention efforts in the community.

Boots and BBQ with be Friday, October 18 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Schoepf's BBQ, located at 702 E. Central Avenue in Belton. Tickets for the event will be $15 each.
