KILLEEN, TX — For the October 16 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Luvina Sabree, organizer of the Armed Forces Natural Hair & Health Expo (AFNHHE).
The 8th annual Armed Forces Natural Hair and Health Expo is happening Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center. The event will feature workshops, demonstrations, entertainment, a natural hair and fashion show directed by Runway Fierce and a natural hair contest. This year’s special guest is Aevin Dugas, Guinness World Record Holder of the World’s Largest Afro.
AFNHHE will also be collecting bottled water, personal hygiene and feminine products, backpacks and more for our homeless community. For more information, click here.
