KILLEEN, TX — A Killeen resident's social media prank received attention from the Killeen Police Department and Facebook users on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Facebook users came across a Facebook Marketplace ad that listed a 2015 Honda Accord with 320,000 miles.

The seller's description was "Left on my property by strangers last night, so I’m selling it."

In the images of the 2015 Honda Accord, you could see several bullet holes in the car and possible blood splatters on the seats.

Central Texas News Now reached out to the man who posted the ad, Brandon Harlee, and he assured us that although he got several inquiries, it was just a joke.

In fact, Mr. Harlee shared he found the pictures on copart.com.

By 5:13 p.m. on Tuesday, the car was marked as sold and no longer available.

Central Texas News Now also reached out to the Killeen Police Department to see if they had heard about the post.

Department officials confirmed they did receive the message and information was sent to the Criminal Investigation Department.

Central Texas News Now is waiting to hear the outcome of that information sent to the department.

While, overall, Harlee confirmed it was just a joke.
