PASADENA, TEXAS — A worker was killed on Feb. 21 while loading containers onto a ship at the Bayport Container Terminal, according to ABC13.
The victim was operating a truck known as a "mule," which is a truck that containers are loaded onto from ships, according to Port of Houston Authority spokesperson Lisa Ashley.
She said the truck was lifted off the ground by a crane because the container on-board did not detach.
The worker was killed.
The Port of Houston Authority Police is investigating.
