AUSTIN, TX — For many families, the 'first day' of anything, can be a very special occasion.
Even if... your first day, is the "opening day", of the 87th Texas Legislative Session. Just like it was for one Texas State Rep., Armando Walle of District 140.
“My boys and family were not happy about missing swearing-in day. It’s always a special occasion. Alternative was to bring our @astros cut-outs.” Rep. Walle shared on Twitter.
Walle tweeted the photo from the Capitol, wearing a mask, and holding cutouts of his two sons wearing their Astros gear. Due to COVID-19, the usually festive events Tuesday were limited to allow safe physical distancing.
However far from his home he may be though, Rep. Walle, appears to stay with 'familiar' company.
