Guess what is hitting Texas highways this week? Self-driving long-haul trucks.
Waymo announced on Twitter last Thursday that they will start driving the Chrysler Pacificas and long-haul trucks in Texas and New Mexico.

According to their website, they said that put the Waymo Driver through the world’s longest and toughest ongoing driving test, through millions of miles on public roads and billions of miles in simulation. You can learn more about the technology here.
They have tested their vehicles in Austin, Atlanta, Detroit, Kirkland and numerous places in California.
