SAN ANTONIO, TX — The San Antonio Police Association is calling out Amazon for selling "incendiary shirts" featuring the slogan "Blue Lives Murder".
SAPOA calls on you to remove these shirts on behalf of all police officers and the people we serve and protect every day. (2/2)

The SAPOA tweeted that they see the shirts as a form of hate speech. In addition to the "Blue Lives Murder" phrase, one of the shirts also features a police officer with a baton raised preparing to hit a pair of hands stretching out to them.
The controversial slogan appears to be a take on the popular "Black Lives Matter" slogan that has been prominently featured in protests nationwide in recent weeks. The shirts with the alternative "Blue Lives Murder" t-shirts are being sold through third-party sellers and not directly from Amazon.
