TYLER, TX — While he may now be in Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes hasn't forgotten his roots.
His charity, the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, announced on Facebook it is donating 15,000 meals to each of the East Texas Food Bank's two upcoming drive-thru events in Tyler, Texas.
The star quarterback is from Tyler and played football at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
This comes as many Texans are still struggling following the severe winter weather that swept across the state.
