CEDAR PARK, TX — 9AM UPDATE:

According to the Cedar Park Police Department, the suspect and the last hostage have come out of the home peacefully.

The scene will remain active as the investigation continues.

8AM UPDATE:

Cedar Park Police Officers confirmed that two of the hostages have been released. The suspect and one other hostage remain in the home.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Three officers have been shot while responding to a call in Cedar Park, Texas, according to police.

"We are on scene of a shooting where multiple Cedar Park Police Officers have been shot while responding to a call at a home off Natalie Cove," the Cedar Park Police Department tweeted Sunday.

The Cedar Park Police Department say they are at a local hospital in stable condition.

The subject is barricaded inside the home and multiple law enforcement agencies are on scene, police said.

Preliminary information obtained by ABC News says the incident started as a domestic dispute. Police believe there are three hostages inside.

The scene is active.

Governor Greg Abbott today issued the following statement after it was reported that three Cedar Park Police Department officers were shot in the line of duty:

"Our hearts are with the police officers who were injured while protecting the Cedar Park community this afternoon. We must never take for granted the service and sacrifice of our law enforcement officers, and the State of Texas stands ready to provide the support and resources needed to bring justice to those involved. I ask that all Texans join Cecilia and me in prayer for the these officers, and for the safety of all law enforcement officers across the state."
