LAREDO, TX — An avocado distribution company from California broke ground on a new facility in northwest Laredo set to open next year, according to Virtual Builder's Exchange.
Mission Produce planned on having a groundbreaking ceremony for their new $50 million facility, but due to COVID-19 they will hold off on any festivities until the building opens next year. The company promises to bring in at least 75 new jobs to Laredo.
The company is a worldwide operation and plans on distributing Mexican Avocados all over the country from the new Laredo facility.
