H-E-B adds purchase limits on water, propane tanks as historic winter weather moves through Texas

H-E-B has added water and propane tanks to its list of purchase limits as a historic arctic blast rolls through Texas.

The Texas-based grocery chain updated its purchase limits to include two water gallons, two multipacks of water and two propane tanks.

H-E-B says the purchase limits are part of its effort to make sure all customers have access to products they need.

Items currently on purchase limits are listed below:

Food items

  • Brisket – Limit 2
  • Frozen Chitterlings 5 LB – Limit 2
  • Frozen Chitterlings 10 LB – Limit 2
  • Water Gallons – Limit 2
  • Water multipack – Limit 2

Non-food items

  • Propane Tanks – Limit 2
  • Aerosol disinfectant sprays – 2 items
  • (Isopropyl) Alcohol swabs – 2 items
  • First Aid and Cleaning Gloves – 2 items
  • Trial & Travel Size Disinfectant Wipes/Sprays – Limit 2

Currently, due to winter weather, H-E-B has changed the hours of operation from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
