WALKER COUNTY, TX — At least one person was killed after a fiery crash on I-45 in Walker County Sunday morning.
TxDPS said preliminary reports indicates an 18 wheeler and passenger car collided. The driver of the passenger car is deceased.
All northbound lanes are detouring at FM1375 and southbound lanes are detouring at Park Road 40, according to the Walker County Office of Emergency Management.
I-45 is expected to be shut down until the early afternoon.
DPS, Precinct 2 JP, New Waverly FD, Huntsville FD, OEM, Jorgensen and Masters Recovery were on scene of the crash.
No names have been released at this time.
