A 3.0 earthquake rattled western Texas early Friday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake struck around 4:35 a.m.
The epicenter is located 36.3 miles south of Whites City, New Mexico, and 53 miles south of Carlsbad, New Mexico.
