WEST TEXAS — The United States Geological Survey is reporting three earthquakes in western Texas on Sunday, Oct. 20.
The USGS says the 2.8 magnitude earthquake happened 6.1 miles south of Toyah, Texas and 87.7 miles west-southwest of West Odessa, Texas at 7:30 p.m. UTC.
A 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck about 12 miles from Pecos and 74.7 miles west-southwest of West Odessa, Texas at 3:39 p.m.
At 1:05 p.m. UTC, a magnitude 2.5 earthquake struck 6.1 miles northwest of Toyah, Texas.
