17-month-old girl hit by bullet shrapnel during shooting in Odessa

ODESSA. TX — A 17-month-old girl was hit by bullet shrapnel during a series of shootings in Odessa Saturday.

According to the girl's mother via a GoFundMe page, Anderson Davis was hit by shrapnel in her right chest. She also has a hole through her bottom lip and tongue and is missing her front teeth.

Anderson's mother says she is alive and is currently being treated in Lubbock.

A GoFundMe has been started to help with medical expenses. As of 4:54 p.m. Sunday, the page has raised over $156,248 out of the $200,000 goal.

At least 7people have died and 21 were injured in the shootings.
