SALADO, TX — The Salado High School vs Rusk High School football game originally scheduled for Friday night has been canceled due to COVID-19.
The announcement was made in a blog post on the Salado High School website on Friday morning.
Rusk High School had to forfeit the playoff football game due to players testing positive for COVID-19 and others having to quarantine due to close contact.
Salado will advance to the next round of playoffs next week against Bellville High School. The date, time and location have not yet been determined.
Those who have already purchased tickets can either use them next week or you can bring them back to the Civic Center for a refund.
