WACO, TX — The competition heated up, Friday at Brazos Park East in Waco.
Fifteen of the world's most talented wake surfers competed in the Waterproof Tour.
This was the first year of the tour coming through Waco bringing some excitement to fans, but also the sport of boating.
"It's really just showing people that boating is not just boating on the water anymore. It's now you can use it as a sport it's a very good bonding time for your family too, to get the family on a boat", said Brandon Hesterman with Wake Surf 360.
The competition continues on Saturday where the wake surfers will look to build points to qualify for nationals. Admission into the show is free!
