WOODWAY, TX — Woodway Police arrested a man for online solicitation of a minor after he allegedly initiated a sexual conversation with who he believed was a 16-year-old girl.
Woodway Officers arrested 34 year old Justin Stead of Beverly Hills for online solicitation of a minor, a second degree felony on Aug. 7.
Stead initiated a social media conversation with a female subject. Detectives took over the conversation and posed as a 16-year-old female.
Stead believed he was speaking with the 16-year-old and quickly turned the conversation sexual, according to police.
He discussed sexual acts and sent lewd images before agreeing to meet for sex in the parking lot of a local business.
When Stead arrived he was taken into custody by Woodway officers.
He was placed in the McLennan County Jail where he is awaiting bond.
