WACO, TX — The Waco Police Department is looking for a man who they believe caused damage in the Cameron Park area.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are in the Lawson's Point area looking for a suspected vandal.
Police say they have been investigating after $10,000 of damage was reported at the Cameron Park Clubhouse the night of Feb. 26.
The suspect was not caught and police say the man is believed to have damaged vehicles in the Cameron Park area.
Office Bynum says the suspect busted out windshields of at least 2 cars with large rocks.
On Feb. 28, a park ranger located the suspect who is described as being in his mid-20's, 5 foot 6 inches, brown curly hair and wearing a green shirt.
The suspect was said to be acting strangely when he was seen.
"We don't believe it's a dangerous situation but residents should avoid Lawson's Point area as many units are responding," said Bynum.
Waco Police and McLennan Community College Police are working together to find the suspect near Lawson's Point.
