WACO, TX — The Waco Police Department said they are investigating a video that has gone viral across social media showing a “very violent assault.”
On Thursday. police said they have identified the person in the video as 17-year-old Jamarion Reese. A warrant has been issued for Reese's arrest for class A assault.
“It is good to know that many in our community will not accept this type of violent assaultive [sic] behavior against women,” said Sgt. Patrick Swanton. “Thank you to those that brought the matter to our attention.”
Police said the video shows Reese physically assaulting his girlfriend.
The video in question has been deleted on its original post. But other Twitter users have shared the video. Warning, the video is graphic.
